A remarkable story by a remarkable woman. One page at a time, Through the Storm of Early Trauma sheds light on the power of sharing our stories and their ability to remind us that we are never alone, even in our darkest of moments.

I was personally blown away by this compelling story of perseverance and triumph. Byrdy Lynn’s story needs to be heard because many women suffer in silence and it gives them a voice. It’s extremely open and honest I believe for the purposes of compassion, understanding and healing. It’s hard to fathom the turmoil told here but God is a healer and her ability to have endured, but yet overcome and achieve is phenomenal.

In the Thick of the Darkness: Power Through and Level Up simply moved me to tears. "Byrdy Lynn’s book is not the first about overcoming physical abuse, sexual assault, and severe hardships to achieve success, but it is undoubtedly one of the most compelling. Her story of beating the odds, finding strength through the power of God, and of mastering her destiny will inspire and empower all of us to reach a little higher and give a little more.

This is undeniably one of the most impactful real life stories I’ve ever read. I found my heart racing at times during the read, other times I was wiping tears of sadness and then clinching my teeth in anger. This memoir is so jammed packed full of actual mind blowing life events and will leave you feeling a renewed sense of compassion for your fellow humans, because you can see someone daily and never know the turmoil they’ve survived.
